Design of this 5,500 seat state-of-the-art minor league baseball stadium
A Tetra Tech Company, Design Exchange Associates, designed and administered the construction of Ripken Stadium, an exciting new 5,500 seat, state-of-the-art minor league baseball stadium in Aberdeen, Maryland developed for a team owned by Baseball legend Cal Ripken Jr. This stadium opened for the 2002 season.
Baseball fans enter the stadium at the main concourse level, providing an unobstructed view of the playing field. A year-round operating novelty store, concessions, tiered cafe and picnic areas are accessed from the main, open-air concourse. Second floor amenities include walk-up buffets and beverage bars, 6 luxury suites and 28 club boxes with balcony seating. Located along the 'third base line' is a play area complete with a 'carousel' for added family entertainment.
