Working with the Pittsford CSD, Tetra Tech developed a Master Plan that identified a wide-range of work to be done throughout the District. A main feature of the $106 million referendum was a new 800-student, 203,000sf middle school. Keeping in mind Pittsford’s high academic expectations, we created an aesthetic design that would anticipate the evolution of educational programs while still supporting traditional educational methods.
The new middle school incorporates many green and high-performance aspects, including geothermal heating and cooling, multiple heat recovery components, increased building envelope performance, and high efficiency lighting.
