Baseball Stadium Reconstruction
SUNY Farmingdale's recent NCAA Division III status created the need for the reconstruction of their existing baseball stadium. One of the highlights of this project is the new state-of-the-art artificial turf baseball field. This first-class field allows for the ultimate athletic potential with very low maintenance, and fosters baseball program improvements by allowing the athletes to use the field earlier in the season. Due to low maintenance, the facility can also be rented out to generate income. Also imperative was the design of an integrated lighting system, 1000-seat spectator and team seating, an associated concessions/toilet facility, and storage. We also developed a new entrance to the ballpark facility, including an access component to the site that will act as a gateway to the entire athletic complex.
